It’s a funny thing about life… it doesn’t last forever. At some point, everyone dies. This kind of sounds like a downer, but, in truth, is incredibly freeing. This world simply isn’t Home. As we all struggle to make sense of it, perhaps the only true sense we can acheive is to realize that we do not belong here.
I’m a follower of Jesus. He gives meaning and purpose to every step I take, and allows those steps to be part of a joyful dance.
I spend the majority of my time running errands and finding random things to do to help people out. I enjoy learning new skills, taking long walks, reading, writing, eating out, driving with the windows down, and running barefoot. I try to live every moment to the fullest–sometimes it means doing lots of stuff, and sometimes it means just laying in the grass and watching the clouds. I’m willing to drop almost anything if someone offers me popcorn, pizza, or Reese Cups. I’m in love with my van.
Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time conversing: in person, through emails and letters, blogs, all sorts of places. The more I grow to know Jesus, the more interested I am to talk with other people about Him, to see what they believe.
The thoughts that I record in this blog are not anything particularly astounding. Mostly, they’re just observations and truths that I have discovered. Feel free to comment; let me know whether or not you agree. My hope is that through my ramblings, you might at least get a glimpse of the Savior who is everything to me.

For those of you who have visited my site before, I’ve switched things up a bit… to see the rest of my blog entries, select them from the calendar to the right… good luck.

Hello Sarah,
I was doing a little research last night on “joyful sojourners” for our upcoming conference when I stumbled upon your site here at wordpress. I read some of your entries because I find it interesting, and thoughts are clearly stated (and i like the soft color you used here, too!).
I want to say thank you for sharing your thoughts with the rest of us. May you continue to write joyfully and truthfully, blessing others with your expression of truth spoken in love.
Blessings on the future works of your hands.
Btw, I am from the other side of your world-Philippines.
Thank you,
Angela
